2090. Mt. Huang Shan. 黄山 Peaking out of the clouds. Oh, how I want to travel…
I want to try being a hermit on Christmas Eve. Just being alone, finding myself again.
The Nottebohm Library is a “hidden library” in Antwerp, Belgium. It allows visitors to enter only once or twice a year. (photos by Niko Caignie)

I am reminded of the Silk Road cities that’ve been eaten by the Gobi desert. I’d love to visit at least one.
Situ Gunung, Indonesia
Photograph by Hardi Budi
Taken at a lake named Situ Gunung in Indonesia.
He gently guides his boat to the middle of the lake and once there, rests his oars and patiently waits for the first rays of sunlight to illuminate the dreamworld.

Quiapo, Manila
I have fond memories of Quiapo. <3 The place is just bursting with life and variety, and there are so many stories that you could get from simply asking one or two questions. The ‘kasaysayan‘ of the people who toil its streets are as vivid as this picture.
This would probably constitute the better part of my round-the-world trip. Sketches and sketches of things that caught my eye, little curiosities and treasures along roads, hidden on vaulted ceilings or simply what I’d be consuming for lunch. There’ll be lots and lots of texts as well. I’ll be keeping travel journals alright, and display them along with my test tubes filled with air and water samples. :))
First would be the Asian leg, then maybe onto the Americas? I’ll save Europe for later.
