This is one sequel that actually gave justice to the essence of its predecessors. *buckets of tears*

So I just started to watch this from the suggestion of an acquaintance. :) One really refreshing watch, indeed. Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai (conveniently, and thankfully, called just Anohana) is the story of six childhood friends trying to reunite after one fateful summer that drew them apart.

I’ve streamed until episode 6 and I can’t wait for the next update! I have to admit I didn’t like Menma at first- what with her insisting and forcing Jintan out of his way- but she has this certain charm and her apparent knowledge of how everything’s changed after ten years, my irritation changed to bemusement. My bias for megane characters still show though. :P
